OUR WINERY BOASTS A GREAT VARIETY OF WINES, AN EXPRESSION OF OUR BELOVED LAND SICILY.

The Tenute dello Jato were founded in 1977 between Camporeale and Corleone (in the municipality of Monreale – Italy – Sicily), at the foot of Mount Jato which dominates the valley of the river of the same name.

The winery was born from our historic passion for winemaking, increasingly through the union of the family's ancient winemaking tradition and technological innovation, with the aim of establishing a biosustainable production.
The temperate climate of the Sicilian coast, the moderate sea breeze, and the vineyards cultivated with love and passion, allow us to obtain pleasant wines of high quality.

OLIVE OIL

The harvest begins in early October when the olives are still green, to ensure a very high polyphenol content and a very low acidity percentage. It is done by hand or with mechanical means and the olives are cold-pressed on the day of harvest. It is then bottled, raw and unfiltered, unless otherwise requested by the end consumer.

ALMONDS

In Sicily, almonds were already present before the arrival of the Greeks. We sell the product in its natural state, convinced that early roasting or peeling does nothing but alter a quality product like ours, for which we are always ready to guarantee the highest selection, both in-shell and shelled.

PISTACHIO

Thanks to its excellent nutritional qualities, pistachio has become a sought-after fruit in every corner of the world, so much so that the export and acquisition of the product has experienced a remarkable boom in the last twenty years. Our jams have a tangy taste and an intense aroma. They evoke the feeling of eating fruit freshly picked from the tree. For our products, we use only strictly organic natural ingredients without preservatives, colorings, or flavorings; they are sweetened with little sugar, and cooked at low temperatures to preserve all the properties of the fruit.
